We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join our Healthcare Division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with contract catering experience and a proven track record in multi-site management to drive operational excellence and lead high-performing teams.

As an Operations Manager with Elior UK, you will be responsible for a portfolio of 15 sites across Taunton & West Coast and the South West where you’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service. From supporting and inspiring Site Managers, to ensuring strong financial performance, you’ll play a key role in client relationships, upholding quality standards, and driving business growth.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will proactively lead and support teams across multiple sites, overseeing recruitment, induction, training, and operational delivery. Your goal will be to ensure an efficient, high-quality service for Elior UK, our clients, and customers.

  • Motivating and managing teams across multiple sites.
  • Overseeing catering service delivery across several hospital locations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing budgets effectively and identifying opportunities for financial growth.
  • Leading communication across your teams and stakeholders; building strong internal and external relationships; producing regular management reports; and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Planning and delivering the effective mobilisation and demobilisation of contracts, working closely with support functions.
  • Driving innovation in service delivery, including menu planning and process improvements.

  • Proven experience in successfully managing multi-site operations and diverse teams.
  • A background in contract catering or retail catering, ideally within healthcare or a similar sector.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate large teams.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with commercial awareness and a collaborative approach.
