Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is hiring an experienced Operations Manager for the ASOS Doncaster operation. You will lead high-performing teams, drive safety, service and continuous improvement, and ensure customer expectations are exceeded.

This full-time, permanent role runs Monday to Friday 8:30–5 with flexibility for other shifts. Salary up to £45,000 per annum plus benefits including pension, private medical and dental, and a comprehensive employee assistance programme.

• Proven Operations Management experience within logistics or warehousing.
• Excellent leadership with track record of developing teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with KPI and budget management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

• Lead and develop First Line Managers and operational teams to achieve and exceed productivity, quality and service KPIs.
• Drive a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring compliance and safe working environment.
• Manage daily operations including resource planning, stock movement, performance management and workflow prioritisation.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service.
• Monitor budgets and provide detailed reporting to senior stakeholders and customers.

This is a full time, permanent position. You will be working Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5pm with flexiblity to cover other shift patterns when needed.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000.00 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Lead and develop First Line Managers and operational teams to achieve and exceed productivity, quality and service KPIs
• Drive a strong culture of Health & Safety, ensuring compliance, risk management and a safe working environment for all colleagues
• Manage daily operational activities including resource planning, stock movement, performance management and workflow prioritisation
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce waste and improve service delivery
• Monitor budgets, analyse operational performance and provide detailed reporting to senior stakeholders and customers

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven Operations Management experience within logistics, supply chain, warehousing or a similar fast-paced environment
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of developing teams and building succession plans
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing KPIs, budgets and operational performance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
• A proactive, hands-on approach with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence using operational systems and Excel
