GXO Logistics in Northampton is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a new, fast-paced distribution operation serving 250+ stores. You will head end-to-end warehouse activities, balance cost and service, and build a high-performance culture on a dedicated site.
The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with standard hours and potential 24/7 support. A strong focus on safety, efficiency and customer delivery is essential.

Here at GXO Logistics, we’re looking for an Operations Manager to join our new retail distribution operation in Northampton. This is a purpose‑designed, dedicated site servicing over 250+ stores, where speed, accuracy and service are critical – and where you’ll play a key role in leading a high‑volume, MHE‑heavy operation with a strong focus on cost control and customer delivery. This is a standout opportunity to lead a new, flagship site from the ground up.
This is a full‑time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, either 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00. Flexibility will be required to support a 24/7 operation when needed.
You’ll be paid a salary of up to £70,000 per annum, dependant upon experience.
