Job summary

First Response Group is seeking an Operations Support Manager to coordinate logistics and maintain compliance across multiple sites. You will support site setups, mobilisations, and ongoing operational delivery while ensuring service levels and safety standards are met.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, experience in security operations, and a proactive approach to incident handling and stakeholder liaison. A rolling shift pattern is in place.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operational or security supervisory role.
• Knowledge of security compliance, risk assessments and health & safety standards.
• Experience with site mobilisations, client management and welfare checks is desirable.
• Proficiency in security technology and reporting tools.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and mobilisation of new sites, ensuring timely delivery and deployment of equipment, uniforms, and resources.
• Conduct site surveys to assess operational requirements and provide input for mobilisation planning.
• Support the Operations Managers in managing client expectations, maintaining high service levels, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
• Carry out regular welfare checks on security officers across sites to ensure well-being and address concerns.
• Oversee deployment and functionality of security equipment and ensure officers are trained on devices and systems.
• Provide on-the-ground support during incidents and liaise with clients and security teams during emergencies.
