Job summary

Flockstone Group is seeking a Head of Operations to report directly to the CEO and drive the operational performance of its acquired businesses.

You’ll develop and lead a practical 90-day post-acquisition plan, working with the group level and existing management teams to strengthen profitability, operations and cash generation while protecting people, customer relationships and culture.

Qualifications

• Electrical wholesale experience would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience running or improving SME operations, business units or multiple locations.
• Experience with acquisitions, integrations, turnarounds or post-acquisition environments is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day operational responsibility for businesses across the Group.
• Create and deliver 30/60/90-day post-acquisition plans.
• Spend time on-site with newly acquired businesses to understand people, customers and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve gross margin, costs, productivity, stock management, purchasing, sales performance and working capital.
• Work with the CFO to understand financial performance and translate numbers into actions.
• Work with Head of Sales to improve sales systems, processes and pipelines across the Group.
• Establish consistent CRM, account management, quoting, pipeline management and customer retention approaches.
• Ensure sales teams have systems and support to perform.
