Job summary

1st Formations is seeking a commercially minded Head of Operations to drive day‑to‑day performance and execution across customer sales, retention, service, mail, Co Sec, and serviced offices/business centre. You will lead integration and optimisation of service lines, ensuring disciplined execution and scalable growth.

The role requires an operator who can translate strategic priorities into practical plans, manage risk and governance, and coach senior leaders to high performance.

Qualifications

• Commercial mindset with ability to drive operational performance across multiple functions.
• Data-led leader who translates plans into measurable execution and outcomes.
• Collaborative leader able to align diverse teams and raise standards.
• Experience with subscription, membership or B2B services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating strategy and day-to-day performance across customer sales, retention, service, mail, Co Sec, and serviced offices.
• Set cadence, targets, workflows, and standards for multiple customer-facing functions.
• Develop and own KPI reporting for real-time visibility into performance and risk.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to resolve bottlenecks and enable scalable operations.
• Partner with the CEO to assess growth opportunities and operational readiness to scale.
