Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a delivery station, driving safety, quality and productivity while mentoring Area Managers. You will oversee shifts and act as the link between finance, HR and safety teams to optimize operations.

The role requires data-driven decision making, experience in operations/supply chain, and a bachelor's or master's degree. On-site leadership at the Leicester region is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in people management and stakeholder management.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Experience with operations/supply chain.
• Bachelor's degree, or Master's degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers.
• Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance.
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence.
• Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.
• Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance.
