Regional Recruitment are partnering with an established professional services firm in Derbyshire seeking an Operations & HR Manager. The role covers HR and day-to-day operational duties across six offices, with direct exposure to Partners and senior management.

This is a hands-on position in a fully office-based environment. Salary and responsibilities reflect the combined HR and operational remit, including recruitment, onboarding, audits, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Essential: HR and/or operational experience
• Good generalist HR experience
• Advising managers on employee matters
• Understanding of UK employment law
• Recruitment and onboarding experience
• Managing absence and attendance
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage varied workload and prioritise
• Professional, proactive with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR across six offices.
• Advise Partners and managers on employee matters.
• Recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
• Oversee performance reviews and appraisals.
• Manage absence and attendance.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Keep HR policies up to date with employment law.
• Support audits, accreditations and quality standards.
• Oversee suppliers, contracts and service agreements.
• Support facilities management and health and safety.
• Develop and improve operational processes.
