Job summary

Greys Specialist Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an HR Advisor (Operations) to join its HR team. This hands-on role supports managers and employees across multiple UK locations and takes ownership of employee relations, providing practical guidance on employment law and HR best practice.

The role also covers performance management, training delivery, wellbeing initiatives and involvement in wider HR projects.

Qualifications

• Strong background in employee relations across a multi-site operations environment.
• Ability to coach managers and challenge decisions when needed.
• Experience designing and delivering training and development materials.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations cases including investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures, absence management and capability issues.
• Provide guidance to managers on employment law, policies and best practice.
• Prepare investigation reports, formal correspondence and HR documentation.
• Support performance management processes and monitor Performance Improvement Plans.
• Coach and advise managers to strengthen confidence and effectiveness in managing people.
• Design and deliver training workshops and e-learning resources.
• Support apprenticeship programmes and wider learning and development initiatives.
• Contribute to employee wellbeing initiatives and workplace adjustments.
• Support HR projects and improvements to HR systems, processes and policies.
• Visit sites across the UK to build relationships with managers and employees.
