Job summary

Alfred H Knight is offering an Operations Graduate position at the UK Head Office in Prescot, near Liverpool. The role provides a structured development pathway to gain practical experience in operations, technical matters, and data analysis, with exposure to client services, legal, and commercial teams.

Your early responsibilities will include supporting UK and overseas facilities across multiple sites, while building a broad understanding of the business and its processes.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma showing ability to learn to a high level.
• UK driving licence desirable.
• Second language or willingness to learn (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin) is a plus.
• Experience in a commercial environment is preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with internal operational teams and stakeholders.
• Respond to enquiries from Client Services, Head of Operations, Legal, Technical Dept and Local Office.
• Assist in operations investigations, client complaints, legal queries and general operational guidance.
• Support UK and overseas offices in sample preparation facilities, warehouses, ports, checkpoints and shipping yards.
