Job summary

WGM Engineering Ltd, part of the RSK Group, seeks an Operations Director - Electrical & Mechanical in Glasgow with hybrid working. You will lead delivery across E&M streams, align resources, and champion safety, quality and profitability while overseeing budgets and relationships with clients and sponsors.

You will shape operational capability for growth, mentor managers, and help steer strategic decisions across the business as it expands into new markets, with relocation to Stepps

Qualifications

• Senior operational leadership experience within electrical and mechanical engineering or similar delivery environment.
• Track record of planning and managing multiple contracts or programmes.
• Strong financial and commercial understanding with budgeting and cost control experience.
• Visible commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Experience developing managers and teams and building capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and execution of E&M operational activity across multiple workstreams.
• Prioritise health, safety, environment and quality in decisions and leadership.
• Develop operational priorities and delivery structures for growth across frameworks and markets.
• Manage objectives and budgets with finance and commercial teams to improve productivity.
• Improve processes and reporting across streams and support functions.
