WGM Engineering Ltd, part of RSK Group, is recruiting a Commissioning Manager to join the Projects team in Glasgow on a permanent, full-time basis. Hybrid working with 37.5 hours per week, relocation to Stepps within 6 months.

You will lead the safe commissioning of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring assets are tested, meet performance requirements and handover successfully to clients. You’ll own commissioning strategies and work closely with project managers, site teams and subcontractors.

Qualificações

• Must have proven experience managing commissioning activities in engineering/construction.
• Electrical apprenticeship and SVQ Level 3 qualification are required.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead commissioning activities across projects, ensuring delivery meets programme and client criteria.
• Develop and maintain commissioning strategies, plans and procedures.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors through testing and handover.
• Review plans and documentation for a coordinated and safe approach.
• Oversee factory and site acceptance testing and witnessing activities.
• Monitor installation quality and resolve defects to maintain readiness.
• Manage commissioning documentation and handover deliverables.
