Job summary

Drayton, in partnership with a high growth retail brand, is seeking an Operations Director to lead end-to-end operations across supply chain, fulfilment, logistics and customer experience. You will report to the senior leadership team and scale the operation as the business grows.

The role is based in the South East with regular travel to operational sites, requiring a strategic, data-driven leader who can align internal and external partners to deliver exceptional execution and a premium

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in consumer products, ecommerce, retail or DTC.
• Strong track record managing complex end-to-end supply chains (manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, fulfilment).
• Experience in growth environments; scaling in size and complexity.
• Experience managing third-party logistics providers and external partners.
• Exposure to ERP/WMS and operational tech; able to leverage data to improve performance.

Responsibilities

Drayton are delighted to be partnering with a highly successful, high growth retail brand to appoint an Operations Director. Reporting into the senior leadership team, this is a pivotal leadership appointment with responsibility for leading and scaling the end to end operation across supply chain, fulfilment, logistics, customer experience and operational systems.

In This Role You Will:

• Lead the end to end operational agenda across supply chain, fulfilment, warehousing, logistics, distribution and third party partnerships.
• Oversee a complex international supply chain, managing manufacturing partners, inbound logistics, inventory planning and fulfilment operations.
• Develop and execute the logistics and distribution strategy, optimising service levels, resilience and cost to serve.
• Champion customer experience excellence, ensuring operational performance consistently supports a premium customer proposition.
• Drive the development and evolution of operational systems, including ERP, warehouse management and order management platforms.
• Lead cross functional operational activity, aligning internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional execution.

Requirements:

• Significant leadership experience within a consumer products, ecommerce, retail or direct to consumer environment.
• A strong track record managing complex end to end supply chains, including manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and fulfilment.
• Experience operating within a growth environment, supporting businesses as they scale in size, complexity and capability.
• Strong experience managing third party logistics providers and external supply chain partners.
• Exposure to ERP, warehouse management and operational technology systems, with the ability to leverage data to drive performance.
