Job description

Drayton are thrilled to be partnering with a high growth UK-based industry leading retail brand, to find their Brand Director. This role will be crucial in developing and leading strategic brand building and content strategies to support the growth of the brand.

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Spearhead high growth through social-first marketing and creative strategies, positioning the brand as a category leading social first brand.
  • Champion innovative, brand-led concepts and marketing strategies that expand reach in priority markets while upholding brand values and tone of voice across all customer-facing channels.
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive social media strategy to grow brand awareness, engagement, and community across relevant platforms.
  • Source and manage partnerships with influencers and brand ambassadors in key markets to deliver authentic, commercially impactful campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with e-commerce, product, and design teams to ensure aligned messaging and seamless campaign execution.
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing and creative team, fostering growth and professional development.

Requirements for this role include:

  • A strong background in e-commerce businesses, with a deep understanding of digital trading, performance marketing, online customer journeys, and DTC growth models.
  • Demonstrated success in high-growth businesses, with experience scaling teams, processes, and marketing activity at pace.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect marketing and strategic decisions directly to revenue, margin, and ROI; confident building business cases and presenting investment proposals to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven capability to lead and inspire a team of approximately 35 people, driving performance, engagement, and accountability.
  • Demonstrated success in building and nurturing influencer networks and executing partnership marketing strategies that drive measurable commercial impact.
