Job summary

AB Sports Nutrition in Brighton is seeking an Operations Director to own end-to-end supply chain, driving scalability, performance and agility across procurement, manufacturing, planning, logistics and customer operations.

You will lead transformation initiatives to embed scalable ways of working while maintaining safety, quality and compliance, reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team.

• Must have experience of managing a manufacturing facility in FMCG/CPG.
• Experience leading end-to-end supply chain in a fast-growth consumer business.
• Operational/site/plant leadership experience is essential.

Role

The Operations Director is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of that growth. Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, you will own and evolve the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring it can scale at pace while maintaining control, agility and performance.

You will lead across procurement, manufacturing, planning, logistics, technical and customer operations, driving alignment between supply chain capability and commercial goals. From optimising in-house manufacturing and supplier strategy through to strengthening planning, forecasting and logistics networks, this is a role that blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Alongside day-to-day performance, you will drive key transformation initiatives, enhancing systems, improving processes and embedding scalable ways of working, while maintaining best-in-class standards across safety, quality and compliance.

***You will require previous experience of managing a manufacturing facility in FMCG/CPG***

You will bring strong CPG/FMCG experience, ideally from a high-growth or scale-up environment, and a track record of leading end-to-end supply chain functions within manufacturing-led, consumer businesses.

Experience in an operational/site/plant leadership role is essential.

Equally comfortable at a strategic level and close to the operation, you thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments. You are confident working with manual, Excel-driven planning environments, but more importantly, you know how to improve them pragmatically bringing structure, visibility and scalability without overcomplicating.
