Job summary

DFDS in the United Kingdom seeks an Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day transport operations, coordinating orders, routes, and partners while maintaining clear customer communication and accurate records.

You will work within a busy team, using MS Office and order systems to deliver timely shipments, manage multiple priorities, and help ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating transport operations or logistics is beneficial.
• Proficient in MS Office and email communication.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of UK geography is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and allocate to delivery vehicles.
• Prepare daily transport plans and route vehicles across the UK.
• Coordinate subcontractor transport plans and external partners.
• Communicate with customers and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Liaise with depots and internal teams to support operations.
• Use customer systems to obtain order requirements and update information.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate operational records.
