Job summary

Evri is hiring for an Operations Controller in Newcastle. You will support driver pre-briefing and de-briefing processes and manage essential documentation while liaising with drivers and customers using company IT systems.

The role requires solid administration skills, industry knowledge, and a flexible, can‑do team player mindset to ensure accurate, on-time tasks and compliance with site policies.

• Assist in Driver pre-brief and de-brief and complete driver documentation.
• Complete and maintain company documentation and filing systems.
• Communicate with drivers and customers via telephone and company IT systems.
• Complete admin tasks including SP/employee vetting and ID badge ordering.
• Handle customer queries via company IT systems.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and site risk assessments.
• Maintain timekeeping, attendance, and professional appearance on site.

ContractType: Permanent - 40 hours

Location: Newcastle

Shift: Days / Tuesday - Saturday

WhatYou’llDo:

You willassistin the Pre-Brief/De-Brief and complete Driver documentation. You will also complete andmaintainthe company documentation. As well as communicating with Drivers and Customers via telephone andappropriate companyIT Systems.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Driver pre-brief or evening de-brief asrequired
• Control company asset management, notably container portal updates, daily container counts,keyand scanner controls
• Check SP payments and issue associated daily/monthly reporting
• Complete all admin tasks andmaintaina suitable filing system including SP/employee vetting, driver set up processes, ID badge ordering
• Deal with customer queries via Company IT systems
• Any reasonable request from a Manager/Supervisor
• All Health and Safety policies and procedures arecomplied with(asstatedin the employee handbook/disigned at the location) in line with Site Risk Assessments
• Comply withCompany guidelines in relation to timekeeping, attendance, work performance, appearance and displayappropriate behaviourwhilst on site.
