Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting an Operations Assistant in Leeds. You will pick and pack goods in the warehouse, drive a 3.5t van when needed, and help place deliveries in allocated areas. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00 with an hour break, 40 hours per week.

Experience in warehousing is essential, and a full UK driving licence is required. The job involves physical work and may include lifting and use of lifting equipment.

As an Operations Assistant based in Leeds you will be responsible for: Working within the warehouse picking/packing goods. Driving the 3.5t van when required. Putting away deliveries into allocated areas. Assisting the team in all areas of the branch including the trade counter and where needed to ensure customer requirements are met. Manual handling and using lifting equipment. This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm with 1hrs break.
