Job summary

William Wilson, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking an Operations Assistant in Glasgow. The role is a full-time, permanent position offering a £26,695 salary plus bonus and benefits.

You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 07:30–16:30, with alternate Saturdays 08:00–12:00 after probation, in a busy warehouse environment. Key duties include picking and packing stock, loading/unloading vehicles, and maintaining a tidy workplace in line with health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Able to handle a physically demanding job.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer interactions.
• Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

As a Operations Assistant based in Glasgow , you'll be responsible for:

• General Warehouse duties.
• Picking and packing stock, which will involve heavy lifting and manual handling of heavy items like boilers, radiators, toilets etc.
