Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited in Peckham is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our Managed Services team. You will serve customers at the trade counter, provide product knowledge, and handle sales queries by phone or email. The role includes general warehouse tasks, goods in/out, and order picking/packing.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with shifts 07:00-16:00 or 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday. Benefits include annual leave, pension, bonus potential, and healthcare and discounts.

As an Operations Assistant based in Peckham (SE15 4PU) you will be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
• Building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to any queries whether that is over the phone or email and processing sales.
• General warehouse duties including, goods in & out, filling paperwork, picking and packing customer orders and merchandising.

This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00 or 08:00-17:00 with 1hrs break, no weekend required.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Previous experience in sales.
• Experience within industry or with trade would be advantageous.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training.
