Job summary

Pipe and Climate Centre in Cambridge is hiring a Sales Assistant to help customers at the trade counter, identify requirements and provide product recommendations. You will handle inquiries by phone and email with a positive, can-do attitude, actively pursuing sales opportunities while delivering excellent service.

General branch duties and stock handling are part of the role. This permanent, full-time position offers a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 8:00-17:00) with a competitive salary plus bonus and

Responsibilities

• Serving customers on the trade counter by identifying their requirements and providing product recommendations.
• Handling customer enquiries via phone and email efficiently, courteously and with a can-do attitude.
• Actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to drive sales within the branch, engaging both new and existing customers.
• General warehouse duties including picking & packing customer orders, unpacking and putting away deliveries and ensuring high standards are maintained in the branch.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 17:00pm with 1 hour break. No weekend work required.
