Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Operations Agent to join a busy Service Centre in Basildon, Essex (SS14). This is a temporary ongoing opportunity offering stable part-time hours.

As an Operations Agent, you will be the face of the Service Centre, deliver customer service to internal teams and external visitors, and cover reception duties when required. Pay is £13.02 per hour for 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 16:00–20:00).

Qualifications

• Administrative experience preferred.
• Experience/knowledge of the express logistics field.
• 2-3 years' operational processing experience ideal.

• Provide a professional, customer-focused front-of-house service at the Service Centre.
• Respond to frontline customer queries efficiently and accurately.
• Welcome and support internal and external visitors, ensuring they are handled appropriately.
• Maintain high service standards and support a positive customer experience.

• Support operational processes with strong attention to detail and "right first time" delivery.

You'll deliver excellent customer service to both internal teams and external visitors, ensuring customer-facing activities are completed to the required standards. You will also cover reception duties when required.

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 16:00 - 20:00
