Job description

We’re recruiting for an Operational Risk Analyst to join us.

In this role, you will support specific deliverables on the assessment, monitoring, reporting, and training of enterprise-wide risks, controls, and assurance. You will use risk management tools and data analytics to provide meaningful insights into the operation and effectiveness of our risk frameworks and controls. Additionally, the role provides support to the 2nd line Business Partners in their oversight of Change and Group Functions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting oversight of the Non-Financial risk areas, including the adoption and training on risk management policies and risk scoring of inherent and residual risks.
• Supporting NFR deep dives or lessons learned reviews on material risk events or themes, and supporting assurance on the effectiveness of controls. This includes supporting reports of outcomes in a timely manner and to a high standard in line with company requirements.
• Supporting risk management practices, including the use of OSX.
• Supporting the production of MI and reporting, including monitoring data accuracy to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Working with and supporting the wider Enterprise Risk Management Team, Change, and Group Functions Business Partners to deliver oversight, training, and assurance. This includes supporting processes and procedures such as RMICF and RCSA, and establishing effective file structures for storing all enterprise risk management materials.
• Being a proactive team member by continuously developing personal knowledge.
• Ensuring quality and governance throughout the risk management framework by working in line with all relevant processes and procedures.
• Collaborating with the wider Group Risk team to ensure appropriate processes, systems, and controls are in place, and that risks and issues are identified and escalated in Group Risk to ensure fair treatment of customers in line with Legal & General’s Customer Experience and TCF policy.
