Talent Acquisition Lead - Banking Financial Services & Insurance - Wipro

About the Role:

Effective Risk Management is a core value at the center of the platform. It involves continuous identification, understanding of relevant risks, assessment, and evaluation of the adequacy of controls aligned with risk appetites, along with necessary improvements. First line risk management requires a comprehensive understanding of risk practices, applied to operational processes.

The role holder will act as a key link between the 1st and 2nd lines of defense, ensuring effective management of risk events and timely closure of audit actions. They will also help deliver departmental and individual targets within set timescales, using technical knowledge and innovative, solution-focused thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Operations in achieving strategic process improvements related to risk management, including operational control and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain breach logs and manage audit/risk incident actions.
• Assist Operations with risk escalations and queries.
• Prepare and deliver risk reports to senior leadership.
• Coordinate with the 2nd line risk function and operational teams on risk activities like recording incidents/breaches.
• Perform quality checks on incidents and evaluate corrective actions.
• Analyze trends in breaches and near misses, recommending process improvements.
• Work with the CASS team in weekly breach reviews.
• Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities as needed.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

• Operational knowledge, including CASS 6 and 7 basics.
• Understanding of risk management practices.
• Experience in financial services, especially wrap platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
