Job summary

Oxford Health is seeking an experienced Operational Manager for a 12‑month secondment to lead the Care Home Support Service and Luther Street Medical Centre in Oxford. You will provide clear leadership to deliver safe, well‑organised, high‑quality patient care within a flexible hybrid work model.

You will collaborate with staff, clinical teams and external stakeholders, ensuring effective governance, workforce planning and service development in line with Directorate strategy, with adjustments

Qualifications

• Experience at a Band 7 level or equivalent disciplines.
• Experience within the NHS and healthcare settings.
• Ability to lead complex teams and manage change effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational management across CHSS and LSMC GP Practice to ensure safe, responsive, high‑quality care.
• Contribute to Directorate strategy and policy to meet quality, people, finance and performance objectives.
• Support workforce planning, staffing and resource management; monitor service performance against contracts.
• Drive service improvement and governance in collaboration with clinical leads and multidisciplinary teams.
