AFH Wealth Management in Bromsgrove is seeking an Operational Alignment and MI Manager to support acquisitions, work with the Integration Team, and embed processes across Operations.

You will lead discovery, develop management information, identify improvements, and provide insights to senior stakeholders, helping performance, risk oversight and delivery.

The role:

The Operational Alignment and MI Manager is responsible for supporting acquisition activity within the Operational team, working closely with the Integration Team and the various operational teams, completing discovery days and ensuring that discovery findings are clearly tracked and implemented for the Operations Team.

The role holder will also work closely with the Operational Mangers to identify process improvements and work collaboratively with the Business Change team to ensure operational requirements, process impacts and improvement opportunities are understood, prioritised and embedded effectively.

The role holder will also be responsible for leading the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of operational MI, ensuring reporting is accurate, consistent, timely and aligned to business priorities.

The role will provide meaningful insight to support performance management, risk oversight, and senior stakeholder decision making, helping the business identify trends, monitor progress against agreed actions and drive improvements across operational delivery.

As our Operational Alignment and MI Manager, you will typically:

• Lead on operational alignment of acquisitions with regard to due diligence reviews, operational processes and operational alignment.
• Review relevant Due Diligence documents for acquisitions, providing appropriate challenge and following up on activities.
• Lead operational discovery activity for acquisitions, including attending discovery days.
• Lead on operational alignment into AFH for acquisitions. Work collaboratively with operational leaders and subject matter experts to embed consistent processes following acquisitions.
• Lead the creation, development and ongoing review of management information, ensuring MI is accurate, relevant, timely and aligned to business needs.
• Analyse operational MI to identify trends, performance issues, risks and opportunities for service, efficiency and control improvements.
• Produce clear reporting and insight for senior stakeholders to support decision making, prioritisation and performance management.
• Review existing operational processes, procedures and controls to identify risks, gaps, duplication and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate findings into action plans, working with relevant departments as the operational SME to implement required improvements to operational processes.
• Coordinate regular reviews of operational processes to ensure they remain effective, compliant and fit for purpose.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational teams, ensuring changes are clearly documented, communicated and embedded.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Operations, Compliance, Risk, Technology and the Business Change team, ensuring process impacts, change activity and improvement opportunities are clearly understood and coordinated.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce concise reports, updates and recommendations
