Job summary

Danish Crown UK is seeking an Operational Buyer to act as the on-site procurement lead, managing daily purchasing to keep materials arriving on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. You will use SAP/JAGGAER and P2P processes, handle call-offs and inventory, resolve supplier issues, and partner with operations, logistics, finance and QA to drive cost improvements and site performance.

You will work in a full-time, permanent role with structured hours and clear opportunities to grow

Qualifications

Operational procurement experience in a large matrix-structured environment.
Proficiency with SAP and JAGGAER; strong Excel skills.
Solid understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) processes and cost control.
Structured, organised and proactive with a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

Call-off & inventory management: Execute call-off orders using framework agreements, maintain optimal inventory levels.
Daily procurement operations: Process requisitions, verify pricing, create POs via SAP/JAGGAER and confirm goods receipts.
Supplier & issue resolution: Act as escalation point for delivery, quality or price discrepancies.
Cost improvement & compliance: Drive material cost reductions while adhering to P2P and QA processes.
Cross-functional collaboration: Align procurement with operations, logistics, finance and QA.
