Job summary

Danish Crown UK is seeking a Lead Logistics Operative to support day-to-day coordination of warehouse activities across inbound, storage, picking and dispatch. You’ll provide on-shift leadership, resolve issues quickly, and deputise for the Logistics Supervisor when needed, ensuring safety, service and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have proven warehouse experience, FIFO/FEFO expertise, and strong knowledge of SAP and Arolink.

Qualifications

Experience in a warehouse environment.
Experience managing FIFO/FEFO.
Proficient in SAP and Arolink.
Strong organizational skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Good communication across all levels.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.
Experience supervising multi-shift operations.
Knowledge of supply chain and warehouse processes.
Working knowledge of inventory or warehouse management.

Responsibilities

Maintain accuracy across inbound, storage, picking, and dispatch activities.
Oversee goods receipt, storage, and system updates as per procedures.
Monitor stock accuracy, investigate discrepancies and resolve quickly.
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance in handling and movement of goods.
Act as escalation point for operational issues and resolve promptly.
Provide day-to-day direction to Logistics Operatives during shifts.
Allocate tasks and coordinate workloads to meet priorities.
Promote safe working practices and hygiene standards.
Support onboarding, training and coaching of team members.
Deputise for Logistics Supervisor when required.
Monitor performance against plan and highlight risks; maintain clean environment.
