The ODP locum role is with Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd, supporting NHS theatres across Southend University Hospital, Broomfield Hospital and Basildon Hospital. You will join a flexible team delivering high-quality perioperative care in a dynamic theatre environment.

We offer weekday shifts 08:00–18:00 with a pay rate of £16.48–£18.47 per hour. Essential: UK theatre experience and HCPC/NMC registration. Sponsorship is not available; right to work in the UK is essential.

Competenze

• HCPC or NMC Registration (RGN/ODP) is required.
• Minimum of 6 months UK operating theatre experience.
• Right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desirable: ILS or Paediatric ILS.
• Desirable: Mentoring or teaching qualification.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part of a multi-skilled anaesthetic team delivering safe, high-quality care across a range of surgical specialties, including:

• Orthopaedics & Trauma
• Head & Neck
• Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• General Surgery
• Urology
• Vascular

Essential:

• HCPC or NMC Registration (RGN/ODP)
• Minimum of 6 months UK based Operating Theatre experience
• Right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship is available for this role)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

• Immediate Life Support (ILS) / Paediatric ILS
• Mentoring or teaching qualification
