Job summary

Vets4Pets Leeds Birstall is seeking an experienced Out-of-Hours ECC Veterinary Surgeon to join our 24/7 hospital. The role offers a salary of £55,000 to £60,000 (DOE) on a 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota and a supportive, well-equipped team.

You will deliver high-quality emergency care across surgical, medical and dentistry cases, with in-house CPD opportunities and a strong focus on patient and client care.

Qualifications

• ECC experience is essential.
• Dynamic, proactive Veterinary Surgeon with strong clinical skills.
• Solid medical and surgical capabilities with night-shift readiness.
• Excellent patient and client care in a busy hospital.
• In-house CPD and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ECC during out-of-hours.
• Manage surgical, medical and dentistry cases as part of the night team.
• Collaborate with night staff, VCA, and reception to deliver care.
• Utilise state-of-the-art equipment and ongoing case development.
• Support referrals and in-house emergency care as needed.
