Prospect Health is assisting a Leeds area 24‑hour Small Animal Hospital in recruiting an Out of Hours Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Surgeon. You will join a well‑established team, manage a diverse emergency caseload, and work on a 7 nights on, 14 nights off rota.

The role offers salary £55,000–£60,000 DOE, a supportive environment with mentoring, ongoing CPD funding, and opportunities for further professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency and critical care settings.
• Strong clinical decision making and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality emergency and critical care to a varied caseload.
• Manage medical and surgical emergencies overnight.
• Perform emergency procedures and surgeries as required.
• Deliver exceptional patient and client care.
• Collaborate with the night nursing and support team.
