Job summary

Wolves at Work in Wolverhampton is seeking a Work Coach for a temporary, fully onsite role five days a week. You will manage a caseload of residents, delivering one-to-one coaching, employability support and ongoing guidance to help customers overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.

You will work with local employers and training providers to create opportunities, deliver outreach, and support customers through CV, job search, applications and interviews.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Work Coach or in a similar employment support role.
• Ability to manage a caseload and support individuals into employment.
• Strong coaching, motivational and communication skills.
• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems and online job search tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residents seeking employment or progression.
• Conduct initial assessments and develop personalised action plans.
• Provide CV, job search, application and interview support.
• Deliver outreach activities within local communities to engage residents.
• Support customers facing barriers to employment including health conditions and skills gaps.
• Work with local employers to identify suitable job opportunities.
• Provide in-work support to help customers sustain employment.
• Maintain accurate records and update case management systems.
• Work towards KPIs and build relationships with partners.
