Job summary

SSEN Transmission has an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join the team delivering the ASTI Loch Buidhe to Spittal Overhead Line (OHL) Project. This is a major 400kV transmission build in the Highlands north of Alness, with a permanent, full‑time on‑site role five days a week.

You will build strong site relationships, ensure safe delivery in line with contractual requirements and SSEN policies, review completed works for payments and support compensation events.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of engineering and construction principles.
• Experience supervising sites in complex utility or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with safety and CDM regulations.
• Ability to read project plans and monitor progress and quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent the business on site and ensure safe, compliant delivery.
• Review completed works for payment and manage compensation events.
• Build relationships with suppliers and contractors on site.
• Contribute to early lifecycle inputs and Gate 3 processes.
• Support on-site team and community partners to maintain progress.
