SSEN Transmission has an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join the team delivering the ASTI Loch Buidhe to Spittal Overhead Line (OHL) Project. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the construction of a major 400kV overhead line project, helping to strengthen the electricity network and support Scotland's transition to a cleaner energy future.

The Site Supervisor will be required to be onsite 5 days a week. Accommodation and subsistence costs provided.

Qualifications

Engineering and construction principles with safety/CDM regulations.
Experience in site supervision within complex utility or infrastructure environments.
Ability to read project plans and monitor progress/inspection standards.
Proficient with digital tools like Microsoft Office; open to learning new systems.
Clear, collaborative communication to build trust and represent the project.

Responsibilities

Represent the business on site, ensuring contractors meet safety and contractual requirements.
Model SSEN Safety Management Systems and foster a safe, empowered culture.
Review completed works for payment and support fair compensation events.
Contribute insights early in projects, often before Gate 3 of LCP.
Maintain a consistent on-site presence and coordinate with contractors and partners.
