Job summary

SSE plc is recruiting a Site Supervisor for the ASTI Loch Buidhe to Spittal Overhead Line project, based on site in the Highlands north of Alness. The role focuses on safe delivery of a major 400kV overhead line while maintaining strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders.

You will oversee on-site activities, ensure compliance with CDM and safety standards, monitor progress and quality, and support payment and compensation processes. Accommodation and subsistence are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in site supervision or construction at duty-holder level within complex utility or infrastructure environments.
• Understanding of safety management and CDM regulations.
• Ability to read project plans and monitor progress and quality.

Responsibilities

• Build strong on-site relationships and ensure contractors deliver work safely and per contract.
• Model SSEN Safety Management Systems and foster a speak-up culture.
• Review completed works for payment and manage compensation events.
