Job summary

United Infrastructure Transmission & Distribution is recruiting a Site Engineer for an Overhead Lines project in Inverness, Scotland. You will oversee enabling works before tower assembly, ensuring daily health and safety, and coordinating with foremen and subcontractors.

This long-term site-based role involves reporting to the Construction Manager, managing resources, liaising with SSE and clients, and maintaining QA documentation to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Manage day-to-day Health & Safety for staff and subcontractors.
• Coordinate foremen and subcontractors; assist the Construction Manager in training and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enabling works and access roads management; liaise with clients and third parties.
• Plan resources (plant, materials, labour) and coordinate with procurement.
• Produce method statements, risk assessments, and monthly reports.
