SMT GB in Cambridgeshire is seeking a proactive Service Coordinator to manage end-to-end servicing and repair activities, coordinating engineers, parts and resources to deliver excellent customer service. You will work with customers, engineers and internal teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to high standards.

The successful candidate will have experience in service coordination, strong IT skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service coordination, scheduling, planning or service administration role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally at all levels.
• Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• The ability to understand and interpret technical reports and mechanical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Coordinating engineer diaries, labour, parts and resources to support the successful completion of service and repair work.
• Raising quotations and managing additional repairs identified through engineer reports, inspections and customer requests.
• Monitoring job progress, costs and service performance to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Supporting compliance with SMT GB’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards.
• Reviewing technical reports and ensuring jobs, including warranty work, are administered and closed accurately.
• Supporting the Service Delivery Manager with resource planning, performance management and engineer development.
• Managing multiple priorities while striving to achieve operational KPI targets and deliver a consistent customer experience.
