Job summary

Moderna Therapeutics UK (Harwell Campus) is seeking an MS&T engineer to join our manufacturing science & technology team. You will manage technology transfer, support cGMP drug substance production, and drive continuous improvement across packaging and labeling in collaboration with global sites.

The role is 100% onsite, requiring strong technical writing, data analysis, and cross-functional teamwork with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Typically 6+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical/biotech with a B.Sc., or 3+ years with an M.Sc.
• Experience in tech transfer, process development and cGMP manufacturing.
• Strong data interpretation and technical-writing skills; able to author protocols and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology transfer activities for commercial products transferring to the Harwell site.
• Support drug substance manufacturing activities spanning technology transfer, validation, and continued process verification.
• Generate, review and execute protocols for process characterization, validation and equipment scale-up in cGMP manufacturing.
• Lead cross-functional troubleshooting and process-improvement initiatives; maintain data repositories and reporting.
