Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Support Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be the first point of contact on site, providing a visible security presence while delivering excellent customer service.

Your role will be key in ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property. The position offers ongoing training and clear opportunities for career progression, with duties including CCTV monitoring, access control, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor) required.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Ability to work alone and within a team.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a visible and approachable security presence
• Keeping staff, visitors, and the site safe and secure
• Monitoring CCTV and responding to alarms
• Managing access control and visitor entry
• Writing clear incident reports and daily logs
