Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a professional Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets while delivering an exceptional standard of service in line with site procedures.

You will help maintain a safe environment, build relationships with staff and customers, and support contract success. Responsibilities include complying with policies, following site instructions, staying compliant with licences, and reporting incidents promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
• CCTV SIA Licence (or willingness to obtain where required).
• SC Clearance desirable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
• Carry out all assigned duties in accordance with site Assignment Instructions.
• Regularly review Assignment Instructions and contribute ideas that may enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
• Follow all health, safety, and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment when carrying out duties.
• Work in an organised and proactive manner, taking ownership of responsibilities and supporting team objectives.
