Job summary

Lucid Support Services Ltd is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support within a school environment in West Sussex.

You will deliver 1st/2nd line IT support for staff across the site, handle AD and Office 365, install end-user devices and assist with IT maintenance. The role is 4 weeks onsite, with a 3-day-a-week schedule and a day rate of £170pd inside IR35. Strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Enhanced DBS is required.
• Experience in IT Support in education environment preferred.
• Strong Windows 10/11 support and AD/Office 365.
• Able to provide face-to-face support and floorwalking.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st/2nd Line IT Support across the school
• Floorwalking and providing face-to-face technical assistance to users
• Troubleshoot and resolve general hardware, software and Windows issues
• Support general user and account administration
• Active Directory administration, including user accounts, passwords and permissions
• Support users across Microsoft Office 365
• Install, configure and deploy laptops, desktops, monitors and other end-user hardware
• Diagnose and resolve peripheral and connectivity issuesProvide clear and approachable technical support to users with varying levels of IT knowledge
• Escalate more complex technical issues where required
• Assist with general IT maintenance and support activities across the site
