Job summary

TMR Group Ltd, a large established engineering and manufacturing firm, is expanding its Birmingham-based purchasing team with a fully onsite Purchasing Coordinator role. The position offers full training, 9am–4pm hours, and real progression opportunities in a growing department.

You will manage POs, coordinate with suppliers, monitor stock, and keep ERP records up-to-date while supporting production schedules and cost controls. On-site canteen and parking are provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in Purchasing, Buying or supply chain.
• Manufacturing industry experience is essential.
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems.
• Must be proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage purchase orders to ensure materials, components.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and maintain competitive purchasing costs.
• Monitor stock levels and material availability to support production schedules.
• Track supplier deliveries, resolve late shipments, and address any purchasing or supply chain issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, update the ERP system, and ensure all purchase orders are raised correctly.
• Raise invoices and check supplier pricing.
