Job summary

National Gas is seeking a Project Supervisor to lead the CSRP at St Fergus Terminal. You will act as the on-site representative, oversee construction activities, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with contractors, operations, and stakeholders from construction through commissioning.

The role demands hands-on site management, strong organisation, and risk awareness. You will engage with the Project Manager and MWC to keep the programme on track and uphold compliance with NEC4 and CDM

Qualifications

• Degree or HND in Construction management/engineering; onsite experience considered.
• Basic Project Management skills including scope, time, cost, quality, safety and security of supply.
• Awareness of NEC4 contracts and the process for notifying defects.
• Good knowledge of Safety and Environmental legislation and CDM Regulations.
• Previous experience of site management and working to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Onsite stakeholder management with PC/MWC and safety compliance under CDM regulations.
• Monitor health & safety systems of work by principal contractor and subcontractors.
• Facilitate regular site safety walks and coordinate meetings with contractors on site.
• Review risk assessments and method statements for compliance.
• Support Permit to Work processes and assist resolution of issues.
• Contribute to delivery programmes and monitor risks to the project timeline.
• Chair weekly site progress meetings and maintain accurate minutes.
