Cappagh Contractors Ltd in the South of England is seeking an experienced Gas Site Manager to lead safe, compliant gas works on site. You will oversee mains replacement projects, manage on-site teams and ensure high quality results for partners like SGN.

The ideal candidate will have gas supervisory and site management experience, a strong safety focus, and a valid UK driving licence. Familiarity with SCO procedures and SGN requirements is preferred.

Qualifications

• Gas supervisory experience required.
• Site management leadership.
• Strong safety and quality focus.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Familiar with SCO procedures and SGN requirements.
• Competent Person (SCO5) or working toward.
• Authorising Engineer (SCO2) for high-risk plants.
• Deep excavation and height work.
• BS5975 Temporary Works Appointed Person.
• Fire Marshal and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise gas mains replacement and infrastructure projects.
• Lead site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with SGN procedures, health & safety requirements and industry regulations.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and stakeholder engagement.
• Complete site documentation and reporting accurately and on time.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all operations.
