Job summary

National Gas welcomes you to its 18-month fixed-term graduate programme, based primarily at St Fergus Terminal, offering exposure to major infrastructure projects from design through to delivery.

You will gain hands-on project management experience under guidance, developing communication, organisation and problem-solving skills within a live operational environment and across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM-related subject or on track to achieve one.
• Engineering degrees are particularly beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience organizing projects or events is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and develop a career in project management.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and coordination activities.
• Assist with project documentation and information.
• Assist with project reporting and updates for stakeholders.
• Support budget tracking and project cost activities.
• Help identify and track project risks, actions and issues.
• Attend project and contractor meetings and ensure actions are completed.
• Build relationships with colleagues and project partners across locations.
• Learn how engineering projects move from design through to delivery.
