Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Production Support Operative - ISBM for Beccles, GB. You will support the quality of production machines and ensure continuity of material and boxes to keep the department running smoothly.

You will report to the Production Manager, with Continental 12-hour shifts (36/48/36) and on-site working. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to Work Instructions to support a world-class packaging operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and protocols.
• Willingness to undertake duties as described in the job description with training if required.
• Desirable: proven experience in a fast-moving production environment.
• Desirable: prior experience as a Production Operative, with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out post production quality checks and seal boxes on the pallet.
• Inform Supervisor/Technician when a bottle is out of specification.
• Ensure machines run safely and are shut down correctly when needed.
• Fill pallet labels with all required information and apply to pallets.
• Label boxes numerically and place them on pallets.
• Move full pallets to warehousing areas as required.
• Maintain two material bins per machine; substitute with a probe if needed.
• Ensure sufficient carton output per shift within 5s tolerances.
• Keep work area clean, safe and tidy and manage waste as required.
