Job summary

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operatives in Witham. This is an ongoing, full-time position on Monday to Friday shifts in a busy production environment.

The successful candidates will support machine operators, load materials, and assist with packing, quality checks and dispatch preparation while maintaining a clean workspace and adhering to health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous production or manufacturing experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Good attention to detail when checking product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside machine operators to support daily production activities.
• Loading machine hoppers with the required materials.
• Carrying out quality control checks on finished products.
• Identifying and reporting any defective or damaged items.
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch.
• Boxing and labelling completed items where required.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area.
• Following site health and safety procedures.
