Job summary

Epwin Group is seeking a Packing Operative to join the production team in the United Kingdom. The role involves packing finished products for transport, assisting with technical tasks on shift when capable, and contributing to a safe, clean working environment on a continental shift pattern (days and nights 6am-6pm/6pm-6am).

The duties include packing and banding according to the manufacturing plan, moving stillages, monitoring quality, operating printers on line, handling paperwork accurately

Qualifications

• Packing and banding production as required by manufacturing plan.
• Accurate completion of paperwork and records.

Responsibilities

• Packing and banding production as required by manufacturing plan.
• Moving stillages through tunnel area.
• Monitoring quality - inspecting, measuring and recording.
• Monitoring printer on line.
• Assisting with run up by watching profile through haul off and saws.
• Changing/replenishing poly film as required.
• Printing labels when required.
• Accurate completion of paperwork.
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping at all times.
• Completing of size changes.
• Maintaining a health and safety working environment at all times, reporting defects as they arise.
• Contributing effectively to your team.
