Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Operations/Production operative to support packaging production. You will help maintain continuity of materials and boxes, monitor machine performance, and support a 12-hour shift pattern across continental schedules.

You will report to the Production Manager and participate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to safety standards and quality checks to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work on own initiative and take accountability for actions.

• Able to follow instructions to complete tasks as required.
• Desirable: experience in fast-moving production environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Post Production Quality Checks and seal/label boxes per instructions.
• Inform Supervisor/Technician when a bottle is not to specification.
• Ensure production machines run safely and correctly at all times.
• Prepare pallet labels and box labels with accurate information.
• Move finished pallets to warehousing and organise storage.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and handle waste appropriately.
