Job summary

Amcor is recruiting an Production Operative at our Beccles site to support the quality of production machines and ensure continuity of material and boxes for smooth department operation.

You will report to the Production Manager with shift patterns varying by department. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient running, equipment checks and pallet labelling to meet daily production goals.

• Desirable: prior Production Operative experience; full training available.

Responsibilities

• Carry out post-production quality checks in accordance with Work Instruction 10 using PPQC stamps, seal boxes and palletize.
• Inform Supervisor/Technician if any bottle is not to specification.
• Ensure machines run safely and continuously.
• Fill pallet labels clearly with relevant information and place on pallets.
• Label boxes with clear numerical identifiers.
• Move full/finished pallets to warehousing.
• Maintain correct material bins, position behind machines, and use probes if needed.
• Ensure sufficient cartons per shift to meet production demand within 5s tolerances.
• Ensure pallets are available in designated areas and top up as required.
• Keep work area safe, clean and tidy; manage waste.
